A family is asking for your help in finding their 1-year-old Golden Retriever ‘Timber’.
Marcy Hill, Timber’s owner, says he was last seen near Grand Bend.
Timber is a working dog. He is an emotional support dog for kids at a youth centre in Huntsville.
Timber doesn’t have any specific markings, but he did leave with a buffalo plaid collar that is black and red with tags.
Please do not approach Timber if you see him. Animals in these situations are scared and could run. Call Hill at 705-380-6015.
Hill goes on to say there is a $2000 reward for Timber’s return. She says if someone took him, to please bring him back, no questions asked.
In situations like this, dogs will often resort to ‘fight or flight’ mode says Hill. Timber has had to rely on his instincts to survive. If you see Timber, please don’t approach him.
If you have any information or have spotted Timber, please call Hill at 705-380-6015.
