Huron County OPP charged a Huron East man with impaired following a traffic stop on March 11th.
Officers were in the area of Varna in Bluewater when they did the traffic stop on Mill Road. After speaking with the driver, the officer noted he seemed impaired.
61-year-old Peter Jansen was brought to the Huron OPP detachment where tests were done. He is charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired over 80.
The vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’s driver’s license is suspended for 90 days.
