It’s Earth Week, and a group of students at South Huron District High School are planning a string of community events to help everyone do their part.
Ryan Marsh, 11th Grade Student and President of the student group Eco Exeter says that it’s important that everyone does their part.
Eco Exeter wants the whole community to get involved, not just their peers. Marsh says that for Earth week, they’re pulling out all the stops.
The group is hosting a free reusable produce bag drive at Hansen’s Independent Grocer on Tuesday morning, a bring your own mug drive at Dairy Queen over lunch hour on Friday, as well as hosting a community clean up from Wednesday to Friday.
For more information, you can follow the group on Facebook or Instagram at Eco Exeter.
