Good Neighbours of Bluewater has partnered up with Huron Shores Area Transit to give locals an idea of what the bus service can do for them. On April 28th, you can ride the bus from Zurich, to Tim Horton’s in Goderich, and enjoy some lunch – all free of charge. Phyllis Ramer, Board Member of Good Neighbours of Bluewater says that they are offering the event as an opportunity for locals to connect with the community, and build relationships.
Ramer also said that the event is a good opportunity for people to become more familiar with the bus service.
Alongside a free ride, locals can get some shopping in before catching the bus home. To register, you can e-mail gnob@hay.net, or pop into their community space at 28 Goshen Street North, Zurich, and speak to a volunteer.
