Huron OPP were called to assist Central Huron and Huron East Fire Departments at the scene of a house fire at a residence in Clinton Monday morning.
According to reports from the OPP, the fire started some time before 7:00 a.m. at the corner of Ontario Street East and William Street.
One occupant was home at the time and managed to exit the home after being awoken by their barking dogs and neighbours.
At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown, but is not considered suspicious.
