A local business is turning fifty! Huron Ridge Greenhouses outside of Bayfield is celebrating the milestone with a slew of celebrations at their farm this Saturday, from 9am to 5pm.
50 years in business is definitely an indicator of success, and Marketing and Sales Manager Sandra Regier says that the key is consistency,
Originally started by Carol and Dave Steckle as a hobby on their livestock and cash crop farm back in 1973, the business is now on it’s second generation and is still in the family.
Regier says alongside hosting a natural dye workshop, a yard tool sharpening service, and free coffee and cupcakes, locals can get a sneak peek behind the scenes.
