The Mayor’s Breakfast this morning hosted by the Exeter BIA and Chamber of Commerce highlighted many critical issues and successes within the community.
Mayor George Finch’s address highlighted various problems being addressed by council, including housing initiatives, the construction of a long term care home, expansion of support for local fire departments, the importance of investing in recreation facilities, and upcoming infrastructure investments.
Mayor Finch credited the success of several initiatives with the strong support that the community has provided.
About 70 members of the public and various levels of government were present, including special guest MPP of Huron Bruce Lisa Thompson.
Theresa Van Raay, member of the Chamber of Commerce said that the event could absolutely be regarded as a success,
Exeter BIA manager Rob Ross was thrilled with the turnout,
Minister Thompson also presented Mayor Finch with a cheque for $3 million in infrastructure investments.
