A traffic stop in Central Huron turned into a DUI.
On April 26th, at about 10pm, Huron OPP were doing the rounds on Blyth Road. The officer noticed a car turn onto Roxboro Line. After pulling the driver over, the officer did a road side breath test where the driver failed.
As a result, a 39-year-old from Central Huron was charged with drinking and driving
The accused was additionally charged with an offence under the Liquor Licence Control Act.
The involved vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused’ driver’s license was suspended for a period of 90 days.
The accused has a scheduled court date for June 5th.
