Your grocery bill may be the top of your mind after your weekly trip, and food banks are also feeling the squeeze.
That’s the case at Blessings – a local food bank and second hand store in Zurich, where the manager Anne Harburn says that their dollars and cents don’t carry them as far when they’re purchasing perishable items,
Blessings also has a benevolent fund that helps with paying bills which Harburn says is also being utilized more,
Harburn says that she’s seen the use of her food bank go up, and food is flying off the shelves.
Blessings is always looking for donations, if you’re interested in making a donation to the charity, you can find more information on their Facebook page (Blessings Community Store).
