We’re all feeling the squeeze of inflated grocery prices, and food banks are no exception.
That’s the case at Blessings Community Store – a local food bank and secondhand store in Zurich, where the manager Anne Harburn says that their dollars and cents don’t carry them as far when they’re purchasing perishable items.
Blessings also has a benevolent fund that helps with paying bills when an individual finds themselves coming up short, and increasing household bills are pulling from that fund more.
Harburn says is always looking for donations, if you’re interested in making a donation to the charity, you can find more information on our website.
