Clarke says that they're excited to work with the community to make sure everyone has a reason to celebrate this holiday season | Photo submitted
The ultimate goal for the Rural Response for Healthy Children is to foster a responsive community that supports, nurtures & strengthens families and children.
Katrina Clarke started working with the non-profit just over a year ago and is the president. She says the organization delivers programs funded by government and foundations but that individual, municipal, local business and service groups donations leverage the work and allow the organization to deliver additional initiatives.
Among her biggest accomplishments so far, Clarke says they recently took over running the Huron County Christmas Bureau which has been a really awesome experience. The Huron County Christmas Bureau has deep roots in our community, having supported local families since 1967.
