If you’re looking for something to do this summer, the Huron County Library has a variety of programs and offerings available at your local branch.
Jim Seale, Head of Programming and Community Engagement at the Huron County Library says that hundreds of students across the county participate every year in their Summer Reading Program, across the 12 branches in the system.
If you’re a bit too old for arts and crafts, there’s also a book club available both virtually and in person.
There’s a lot more than just books available at your local library, says Seale.
Another underutilized offering is their object library which contains things like a green screen, ukuleles, backpacks full of resources for children, and portable Wi-Fi hubs.
