myFM is once again debuting the Community First Scholarship.
General manager of 90.5 myFM, David McAllan, tells us the scholarship is for any graduating High School Student pursuing secondary education.
All you have to do is record a 1 to 2 minute clip on what community means to you by June 3rd.
McAllan says this scholarship is important because it helps the leaders of tomorrow.
Submissions for the scholarship are easy, last year, two additional students were chosen because they were so good.
The deadline is June 3rd at 7pm.
To be considered for this scholarship, a student must:
- Be a high school senior in an MBC radio station service area
- Intend to pursue further studies in College, University or the Trades
- Complete the personal information section
- Submit a 1-minute to 2-minute recording (your voice) sharing your thoughts on “What Community means to you”
