Steve McAuley, Chief Administrative Officer for Lambton Shores says that their seasonal employees are often college and university students, and that they provide a laundry list of valuable services that keep the tourism in the area running smoothly,
Retention of young people is something that everyone in a rural area should be prioritizing, and McCauley hopes that the Municipality is doing it’s part,
McCauley also says that the seasonal workers with the Municipality provide vital services that contribute to the tourism that keeps the local economy strong,
The seasonal jobs offered both in the private and public sector in the area are perfectly tailored to students school year schedules -beginning when they finish school in the spring, and commencing right as they start class again.
