Exeter is celebrating it’s Sesquecentennial this year- 150 years as a municipality.
Chairman of the Exeter District Heritage Foundation, Bob Heywood believes it’s important to recognize the anniversary.
Continuing, Heywood says the festivities begin on June 29th with an opening ceremony.
But, the heart of the celebration is on Canada Day with an Exeter 150 theme.
Martha Heywood goes over the route for this years parade.
Classic cars, farm equipment, horses and floats welcome to join the parade, you’re just asked to RSVP by June 19th.
The day will also include a classic car show at the South Huron Recreation Complex.
