The 21st annual Alice Munro festival is coming up, with a variety of literature celebrations taking place from Blyth to Bayfield June 2nd to 4th.
Named after Huron County native and well known author Alice Munro, the festival includes workshops, presentations, performances, panels, and masterclasses by many bestselling authors,
The festival also hosts the annual short story competition delivered by the Huron County Library for both adults and youth.
Individuals can purchase day pass tickets for:
· Friday – Opening Night at Blyth Memorial Hall ($25)
· Saturday at Maitland River Community Church in Wingham – includes a catered lunch and access to the Short Story Contest Awards ($75)
· Sunday – Bayfield Town Hall ($50)
· Masterclasses are available on Saturday and Sunday and can be purchased separately ($30).
