Huron County OPP say that there is no ongoing threat to public safety, following the arrest of an individual in Londesborough on Sunday.
At approximately 12:15 p.m. officers received a call from a resident that an individual was holding a knife and had damaged their property.
Officers secured the surrounding the area for public safety – a portion of the road was closed, and traffic was diverted temporarily, with the road reopening around 3pm.
A 49-year-old resident from Central Huron was located, arrested, and charged with assault with a weapon, and mischief under $5,000.
