Schatz Winery, at Hessenland Inn in St. Joseph’s, has some very exciting news.
They’ve just finished renovating a new multi-purpose space.
Family Member and Owner at Hessenland Inn, Frank Ihrig says it’s been exciting seeing things coming together.
You heard Ihrig right, the new space is in their former horse barn.
Now, along with their production facility, it hosts a barrel room, events space, tasting area and lounge.
According to Ihrig, the initial response from the community has been fantastic.
He’s proud, stating that Schatz Winery has been a very special project for them.
Established in 2019, the winery has been operating out of the Hessenland Inn’s main building.
