For more than a decade, the Huron County Multicultural Festival in Goderich has been a pleasure for the ears, and stomach – with a variety of musical acts, and food samplings from across the globe.
Marketing and Branding Co-Ordinator for Huron County Cultural Services Amy Zoethout says that a multicultural festival makes complete sense for the community,
The free outdoor event coming up on June 25 on the square in Goderich is sure to attract a variety of onlookers – with a beer garden, musical features, community groups, and children’s activities provided by the Huron County Museum and Huron County Library.
Zoethout says that she personally always looks forward to the variety of cultural cuisines,
Food vendors include features from our own local hotspot Exeter Thai, alongside churros, tandoori, perogies and more.
It’s important to recognize the rich cultures present in the county, says Zoethout,
Cultural tents from cultures across the globe provide an opportunity to ask questions, and experience something new right in your own back yard.
