If you haven’t had a chance to see GAIA yet, this week is your last chance to check out the center piece of Huron Waves Music Festival here in Exeter – a 21 foot scale model of the earth as seen from space.
Artistic Director for the festival John Miller says that Exeter is very lucky to play host to such a remarkable installation,
Compiled from imagery gathered on NASA missions and photographs taken by astronauts, the art installation by Luke Jerram has awed over 3000 visitors from throughout the province,
Miller says that if you haven’t seen GAIA yet, now is the time!
The last event being held by Huron Waves is Endless Dusk,
Wednesday and Thursday evening, you can take in all the sounds of the artic, while also seeing GAIA for yourself.
The installation leaves Exeter on July 3rd – for more information, visit huronwaves.ca
