A late-night joyride took a dangerous turn on Sunday (June 25), when the Huron OPP received a tip about a car stuck in a ditch along Highway 21 in Bluewater.
Officers swiftly responded to the scene, only to discover that the driver had been hitting the bottle a little too hard. It didn’t take long for the cuffs to come out, and the driver was hauled off for breath tests administered by a Qualified Intoxilizer Technician.
A 22-year-old from Brampton, now faces the music with charges for operating a vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his system.
