Huron County OPP Major Crimes Unit is currently investigating a triple stabbing that took place shortly after midnight on Sunday, July 30th.
At 12:45 a.m. on July 30th, 2023, the Huron OPP officers received a report about a knife attack at a residence in Clinton, with three victims under the age of 18 sustaining injuries.
The youths were taken to Goderich hospital – with one later being transferred to London’s Victoria Hospital, where they remain under medical care. Fortunately, the injuries have been assessed as non-life-threatening. The assailant managed to flee the scene before the police arrived.
As a result of their investigation, the authorities have apprehended a 15-year-old male youth from Stratford who has received several assault and weapons charges.
The Huron OPP is still investigating the incident and encourages anyone with information to come forward and assist the investigators. If you witnessed the incident or have any pertinent details, kindly get in touch with the police.
Additionally, if you have any video surveillance footage capturing pedestrian activity between 12:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on July 30th, it could be of great help to the investigation.
