Monday is the day of observance for Civic Holiday, and town hall, the landfill, banks, and the library will be closed to mark the occasion.
While most businesses will be closed, emergency departments at local hospitals in Huron County will remain open, ensuring essential medical services are available. However, please note that outpatient clinics will be closed on this day.
If you plan to visit any businesses, it’s best to check their social media and online presence, as some may operate with reduced hours during the Civic Holiday. Here are a few notable examples:
- Hansen’s Independent Grocer – Open 9 am – 5 pm on Monday
- Foodland – Open 9 am – 5 pm on Monday
- Exeter Library (and all Huron County Library Branches) – CLOSED ON MONDAY
- Grand Bend Library (and all Lambton County Library Branches) – CLOSED ON MONDAY
- Pinery Provincial Park – Open from 8 am to 10 pm on Monday, allowing visitors to enjoy the holiday in the park.
