Turnberry Street in the Village of Brussels, was temporarily closed during an active police investigation on Saturday, August 5th.
The increased police presence caught the attention of local residents, with officers from multiple units converging on the scene. The situation led to the arrest of a 44-year-old resident of Huron East.
They now face charges of weapon possession against prohibition orders, threats to animals and more.
While specific details regarding the confrontation leading to these charges have not been disclosed, police have the individual in custody, pending charges in court.
