What started as a late-night drive took a wrong turn when a South Huron resident encountered the long arm of the law during a routine RIDE check on Morrison Line on July 30th.
At 12:55 a.m., an officer from the Huron OPP set up shop at the intersection of Morrison Line and Huron Street East.
As the officer approached a Southbound the vehicle, they noticed something was a little off with the driver, and conducted a roadside test – which confirmed that the driver was in fact over the legal limit.
Driving under the influence is a danger in our own backyard, so if you spot a driver that you suspect is impaired, call 911 and report it – you may just save a life.
