A clean car, some community bonding, and a donation to a local charity – what’s not to love?
The South Huron Fire Department is holding their 3rd annual car wash at the Exeter Fire Station on Saturday (September 9th).
All proceeds go toward the Huron Perth Centre for Children and Youth – a cause that volunteer firefighter Bryan Denomme says is important now more than ever,
The event will be fun for the whole family, and is a great opportunity to come and check out the station for yourself,
Dennome says that it’s important for volunteer firefighters to bond with the people they’re tasked with protecting every day,
In the past they’ve had over 100 cars come through on the day, this year they’re hoping to surpass that.
If it happens to rain, they’ll be washing cars on Sunday, so come on down, say thanks, and make a contribution to a great cause.
