Huron OPP are on the hunt after a 13-year-old boy was robbed while on his paper route in Wingham last week.
On Thursday (August 24) afternoon, the boy was cycling along his delivery route when three young men emerged from a trail and forcefully removed the victims backpack, filled with newspapers. He fled the scene, but not before he sustained minor injuries.
Not long after the incident, the perpetrators emptied the contents of the backpack over a nearby bridge, and into the river.
Three male suspects aged 18 to 27 were observed wearing distinct clothing:
– Suspect #1: Male, dressed in a grey shirt and blue pants.
– Suspect #2: Male, spotted in a red shirt and black pants.
– Suspect #3: Male, wearing a black shirt.
