Members of the Dominion of Canada Reenactment Corps will help attendees be transported into the world of the Canadian Expeditionary Force.
You can experience the rigorous training and equipment used by soldiers preparing for the Western Front.
Visitors can participate actively by filling out their own attestation papers, engaging in mock training drills, Thorne says that it’s part of the museums movement to more involvement from visitors,
There will also be a presentation on Lambton’s own 149th battalion, where local men would have enlisted at that time – giving participants an inside look into their own history.
Thorne says that observing our military history is something we should do all year around,
