After the first week back to school, parents are getting into the swing of things with packing lunches for young students.
Registered Dietician Danielle Labonte says its important to pack a balanced lunch with at least one food from each of the catergories on Canada’s Food Guide.
As for saving money, purchase bigger packs of crackers instead of small individual servings and put them in reusable packaging, stay away from name brand foods, and pre-packaged processed options.
