Canada Blood Services is facing shortages – even more so than is typical this time of year.
While shortages heading out of summer are pretty common due to the irregularity of donor schedules through the months, floods and wildfires throughout the country have disrupted donor clinics – with people strained by the natural events, and declining donor appointments in affected areas.
Wildfires in Kelowna at the end of August prompted the cancellation of 300 appointments.
If you’d like to help make up the shortfall, Exeter’s clinic is coming on September 20th – make an appointment today at blood.ca
