On September 1st, a Goderich resident found themselves facing multiple charges after being pulled over for speeding on Highway 21.
At 9:37 a.m. an OPP officer was patrolling the Municipality of Bluewater when they spotted a northbound vehicle traveling at an excessive speed. Upon speaking with the driver, it became evident that alcohol had been consumed before taking the wheel.
The driver was apprehended for Impaired Operation following a failed roadside breath test.
A 27-year-old from Goderich, now faces serious charges, pending a court appearance scheduled on October 16th.
