A dramatic collision in Seaforth on Friday evening, has left a local business in shambles
At approximately 8:00 p.m., Huron County OPP responded to a farm tractor, hauling two trailers, which had veered off course and plowed into a building on Main Street.
The impact was so severe that it compromised the structural integrity of the building, which houses both a business on the ground floor and a residence upstairs.
Remarkably, the residents present at the time escaped unscathed, and the 23-year-old tractor driver from Huron East, also emerged without injuries.
For now, the tractor will remain in place until it can be safely removed, complicating matters for investigators.
As of this morning, the street is still closed from the lights, South to Gouinlock St, along with John Street to Main Street (West of the collision).
Pedestrian traffic is currently allowed for business access in the core.
