A concerned citizen’s call led to an arrest in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township.
September 29th, a concerned member of the public called in a suspicious person walking on Kinburn Line just outside of Clinton.
Huron OPP located the person, and in talking to them, it became clear that the individual had consumed alcohol and had driven a motor vehicle before police intervention.
Breath tests confirmed this, and a 24-year-old resident of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township, now faces a litany of charges, including operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs, assault, and mischief under $5,000.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on November 6th, where the legal process will continue.
