Ontario Premier Doug Ford once again took a shot at the federal carbon tax Tuesday and urged Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to remove it.
The premier says it’s a far-reaching expense for taxpayers.
He said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s latest announcement of a three-year exemption for certain homes doesn’t go far enough.
Ford urged Trudeau to scrap the carbon tax entirely, and says that only 5% of Ontario businesses and homes fall under that category.
