It’s Crabby Joe’s game day. The Exeter Hawks play Dorchester tomorrow night at 8pm at the South Huron Recreation Centre in Exeter.
Jaeden French, the versatile Centreman for the Exeter Hawks, brings a unique journey and a commitment to the game that has made him a valuable asset to the team. Jaeden’s hockey odyssey began in Barrie, where he honed his skills in the minor leagues. Along the way, he played for the Gray-Bruce Highlanders and the Stayner Siskens, gaining experience and growing as a player. His connection with the Hawks started a few years ago when he moved to Exeter for school, and it’s been a thrilling ride since then.
Though Jaeden hails from Collingwood and isn’t a local by birth, the fans in Exeter have embraced him warmly.
When it comes to the team dynamic, Jaeden describes the Hawks as a tight-knit group. They not only perform well on the ice but also share a strong bond off it.
Jaeden’s hope for the home game tomorrow is simple: victory.
When asked what he hopes to do on the ice tomorrow to make it happen, Jaeden said that he looks to dominate the rink.
French also said that he would like to express his heartfelt gratitude to the coaches, trainers, and volunteers who dedicate their time to support the team. He also extends his thanks to his sponsor, Ben Glavin from Glavin’s Sandblasting, for the remarkable support received, even as a non-local player.
Go tomorrow night and cheer on your hometown Hawks! Come before or after the game and fuel up at Crabby Joe’s in Exeter.
