Keep your eyes on the skies on the 11th – a group of veterans are doing a formation flyover in Goderich as part of their Remembrance Day Service at the cenotaph.
The group is led by Captain Bart Postma – a retired Air Force pilot who served in the military as a pilot.

Captain Postma looks forward to having some company on his flight this Saturday.
The other three pilots that will be flying include Exeter locals Tom Hartai, and David Podbury, as well as Goderich local Nick Friesan. The group will be taking passengers – they hope to have some special people in their jump seats.
Exeter local Tom Hartai will also be flying in the formation on Saturday.
The group will be conducting a special formation, to fly over the Square in Goderich following the moment of silence at 11am.
Captain Postma says that he has always felt privileged to have served his 24 years in the RCAF during peacetime.
Although their flyover on Saturday is weather dependent, Captain Postma says that if they can’t fly, they will still make sure to honour their fallen comrades at the cenotaph – he hopes to see as many people out as possible, remembering the sacrifices that the men and women that came before us made.
