Local residents in the Exeter-Grand Bend area are urged to keep their eyes on the skies, as Environment Canada issued a snow squall watch this morning.
This alert covers a significant portion of our region, including London-Middlesex, Huron-Perth, and Oxford-Brant, with Grey-Bruce specifically under a snow squall warning.
As we transition from Monday night into Tuesday, the forecast predicts the onset of the first substantial lake-effect flurries and snow squalls of the season. Accumulations could reach up to 15cm in some areas, accompanied by poor visibility and heavy, blowing snow, making travel conditions challenging.
Travel may be impacted, and individuals are advised to exercise caution, especially during periods of reduced visibility and heavy snowfall.
