Huron County OPP Auxiliary Unit is gearing up for their annual “Stuff-a-Cruiser” food drive, set to take place this weekend in Goderich.
Recognizing the challenges faced by many in our communities, especially during the holiday season, the OPP Auxiliary Unit is calling on the community help them give back.
Constable Jamie Kyle, the Huron OPP Auxiliary liaison officer, expressed pride in the community’s generosity during the event’s previous editions. Kyle emphasized, “Year after year, the kindness and generosity demonstrated at our food drive event is absolutely astounding. This year, more than ever, the need is great in our communities. Together, we can make a difference for those who need our support through our compassion and generosity.”
You can donate non-perishable food items at Zehr’s Goderich on Saturday, December 2nd, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
All donations will directly benefit local families in need, with the collected items distributed through the St. Vincent De Paul Community Food Bank.
