HuronSong Chorus is tuning up for their annual Christmas concert at Knox Presbyterian Church in Goderich on Monday (December 18th) and Tuesday (December 19th) at Northside United Church in Seaforth.
The ensemble is set to showcase the spirit of the season through a repertoire of Christmas music performed in full choral harmony, featuring four distinct parts.
This year, the chorus boasts a robust ensemble of 68-70 singers, with a history of 16 years singing together.
Choir Director Deborah Bailey says that the evening will be one that’s full of soul.

The concert promises a unique touch with the inclusion of special guests – the COCO kids, a group of children lending their voices in Goderich. On Tuesday, at Northside United in Seaforth, the trio “Jelly Bean Blue” will grace the stage.
What makes these concerts truly special is their philanthropic purpose.
Both performances serve as fundraisers for the Huron Women’s Shelter, with admission granted by donation. Bailey says that their relationship goes back over a decade.

For those eager to attend, Bailey advises arriving early, especially if the weather is fair, as the venue may reach full capacity. Donations of any amount are welcomed at the door, with tax receipts available for contributions of $20 or more.
Don’t miss the chance to be part of this musical celebration that resonates with both artistry and altruism swing by Knox Presbyterian in Goderich at 7:30 on Monday, or Northside United at 7:30 on Tuesday.
