On Thursday, December 14th, the streets of Exeter were ablaze with festive lights and holiday cheer as the annual Jolt Fitness Jingle Run took place.
Katie “Siggy” Siggertson, head trainer at Jolt Fitness said the event was an absolutely unquestionable victory.
The run wasn’t just about fitness; it was a true community spectacle. Families with strollers, dogs adorned in lights, and participants of all ages paraded down Main Street, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
The choice of Ronald McDonald House as the beneficiary was a thoughtful one – and one that Siggy says is close to the team at Jolt Fitness.
Siggy says that the people here in South Huron really show up for local businesses and have been their strongest supporters from day one.
Looking ahead to next year’s Jingle Run, Siggy says they’ve set a goal of 100 runners. Additionally, the gym has its sights set on the upcoming “Bowl for Kids’ Sake” event in the spring, partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron.
