A routine traffic violation in Central Huron led to the discovery of prohibited weapons in the possession of a local resident.
On December 21st, Huron OPP were on patrol in Clinton when they pulled a 40-year-old male driver over for a traffic violation.
A search of the offenders vehicle revealed that the driver was in possession of prohibited weapons, including a replica handgun and brass knuckles.
Officers laid a series of charges, including possession of imitation weapons, and unauthorized possession of a weapon. Additionally, he has been charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
