Businesses in Huron-Bruce to apply for the provincial Southwestern Development Fund – which aims to support local small and medium-sized businesses, fostering growth through investments in equipment, training, and community projects.
MPP Lisa Thompson emphasized the importance of these businesses, calling them the “backbone of our regional economies”. The program offers financial support, advisory services, and guidance on compliance approvals to navigate government programs.
Applications for this quarterly program are open until January 14th, with another application period coming up this Spring.
