Intimate partner violence investigations in South Huron and Bluewater on January 16th have led to several charges.
A call for service in South Huron led to charges of spousal assault with a weapon, threats of death or bodily harm and more for a 23-year-old from Sarnia, who was later arrested before being released pending a court appearance.
After an investigation in Bluewater, OPP found that an individual committed several assaults on their partner.
As a result a resident of Bluewater has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, making serious threats to cause harm or death to a spouse, and more.
They have since been released from custody and are set to appear in court at the end of February.
