Some homeowners in Huron East, arrived at their rural property on January 31st to find an unexpected guest on their premises on Newry Road.
The driver of a pickup truck requested fuel and asked if she could charge her cell phone on the premises.
Upon their arrival, Huron OPP discovered that the pickup truck in question had been reported stolen from the Kitchener area.
The suspect, a 43-year-old resident of Paris Ontario, was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000, Fail to Comply with Probation, and Trespassing at Night.
The individual has since been released, pending a court appearance.
