This Sunday, February 11th, marks 211 Day, celebrating the information service that connects individuals to local community programs, social services, and government supports.
Available 24/7 in over 150 languages, 211 assists people before crises, offering support for mental health, substance use, aging parents, and more.
Susan Faber, Director at United Way Perth-Huron, emphasizes the invaluable resource and encourages anyone in need to dial 2-1-1.
Last year, 2,642 calls and 3,467 website visits from Perth-Huron sought information on local programs and services.
United Way’s funding ensures the continued support of 211 and other vital programs in the community.
