Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have leveled a dozen charges against a South Huron resident following a suspicious person complaint in Seaforth.
On Saturday morning (February 10th), just after 9:00 a.m., Huron OPP received reports of a suspicious individual in a minivan.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officers suspected the male driver of being impaired – they also discovered that he was not allowed to be operating a vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest, and during a search, police discovered a knife and several controlled substances.
A 35-year-old from South Huron, now faces over a dozen charges, including impaired operation, resisting a peace officer, and possession of opioids and methamphetamine.
