The Municipality of Lambton Shores is looking for people to becoming volunteer firefighters.
Fire Chief James Marshall, says the need for volunteers is always there, but they are needed now more than ever due to high demand.
Chief Marshall says there is mandatory training that volunteers must go through before the can become part of the team and explains what people looking to apply to become a volunteer can expect.
He says if you are looking for a way to give back and help members of the community, becoming a volunteer firefighter is one simple way to do so.
Chief Marshall says it is so important to have volunteers as part of the team. They need people they can trust to show up and help during emergency situations.
Chief Marshall says anyone is able to apply to become a volunteer.
