The Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority’s (ABCA) 34th annual dinner and gala is coming up in April, and it’s your opportunity to support local conservation efforts, and have a good time.
Tim Cumming, Communications Manager says that the event would not be possible without the Exeter Lions Club, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in the event’s longevity and success. What began as a modest initiative has blossomed into a cornerstone event.
Every year the dinner picks one local artist to celebrate – this year’s featured artist is Stephanie Dennome, a floral artist renowned for her exquisite creations at Blush and Blossom Floral. Dennome’s selection marks a departure from traditional visual artists, a direction which the dinner has taken in recent years.
Cumming underscored the multifaceted nature of the Conservation Dinner, citing its blend of entertainment, philanthropy, and community engagement.
The proceeds from the Conservation Dinner have been instrumental in funding a wide range of projects, including parks, trails, conservation areas, youth initiatives, and educational programs.
Historically, the dinner has completely sold out, so now’s your chance to get your tickets for a night to celebrate local art, and conservation efforts.
