AMDSB is seeking partners to provide before and after-school programs in Huron County.
Some schools, like Brookside PS, Hullett Central PS, Huron Centennial PS, and North Woods ES, lack sufficient childcare providers.
AMDSB encourages community organizations or individuals to become licensed through Huron County and offer programs at these schools.
Cheri Carter, Superintendent of Corporate Services, notes that annual surveys reveal a shortage of spots, causing waitlists and families seeking alternatives.
The focus is on supporting schools with the highest demand, and the community is urged to step forward.
