Starting this week, Ontario residents will begin receiving their 2024 War Amps key tags by mail.
The War Amps key tag program began in 1946 as a way to give employment to war amputee veterans.
90.5 myFM spoke with Bob Maguire, Public Awareness Specialist with War Amps, to learn more about this program.
This is a free program, but donations are welcome. Maguire told us how these funds raised are used.
The War Amps receives no government grants so rely heavily on the public’s support.
